Honey Processing Room Construction

After an intense winter of construction, it was ready just in time for the first honey harvest!

Beekeeping Work

After years of tinkering and figuring things out, our beekeeping work ran really smoothly this year. It was also the first year we finally had more than enough of our own beeswax... which meant we didn't have to be stingy with foundation sheets for our bees anymore.

Swarm Season

Watching a bee swarm is always a spectacle. This year we caught a particularly large swarm in our own garden. The colony developed really well and went into winter strong.

Honey Harvest

All in all, we had a good harvest in 2025. The spring wasn't quite as strong due to weather conditions, but we were really happy with the summer bloom, forest & bloom honey, and plenty of forest honey again.

Comb Honey

The comb honey experiment was a success. We're definitely doing this again in 2026

Beeswax Candles

We finally worked up the courage to try candle making. It's really special being able to light our own beeswax candles on cold, dark winter days
